Batu Ferringhi
Batu Ferringhi is most famous for its ‘golden mile’ stretch beach. Once a sleepy hamlet dotted with fishing villages, it is now a major playground for sun worshippers with a string of international chain hotels and resorts as well as no-frills budget accommodation.
The street-side night market that stretch for about a mile is worth exploring for souvenir and gift items. Restaurants and entertainment outlets also line the Batu Ferringhi Road.
